Lily did not go to bed, and he insists there is still time to play grammar and language notebook grade ten. Only after a little white bear comes to the door with a suitcase and flew to an island with grass skirts and sticky sweets that Lily is worn enough to sleep to admit defeat. The dialogue is stilted, and stuck with a section in the middle of the story, it feels more like confused fantasies of a dream rather than a coherent story. Is it a book? A story of two friends and the imagination of a little girl? Is it a bedtime story? An entire book could certainly not all three of these elements are woven together effectively. The drawings illustrate a vibrant pastel fantasy of the children to animal lovers and party-island smile. But the text sounds like someone who brews a parent before going to bed on the fly.
